At The Hill Church, we are a Christ-centered, Spirit-led body of believers rooted in the unchanging Word of God. We believe that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). Jesus Christ of Nazareth is our Lord and Savior, the Living Word made flesh (John 1:14), and it is by His truth that we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28).

Everything we do flows from Scripture. The Bible is our ultimate authority, our compass, and our foundation (2 Timothy 3:16-17). In worship, in teaching, in service, and in daily life, we strive to be faithful to God’s Word and obedient to His voice. We believe the church is not a building but a body, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

We are stewards of this ministry, not owners. All that we have and all that we are belongs to Yahweh. As He leads, we follow. As He speaks, we listen. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way” (Psalm 37:23). We seek to move in alignment with His Spirit, never leaning on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6), but always with one singular mission: to glorify the name of Yahweh so that “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11).

We are a collective of ordinary people walking in extraordinary purpose. This is not by our might, nor by our power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). We gather in unity, serve in love, and walk by faith, believing that the Church is God’s chosen instrument to reveal His glory to the world.
