Holy Spirit - FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
Paul wrote this letter to his people in Galatia — believers he personally discipled, baptized, taught, prayed with, and launched into freedom through Jesus. Paul loved them like a spiritual father should — but man, he was also frustrated, because he had already corrected this with them before, and now they were drifting again, listening to teachers who were remixing the gospel into Jesus plus rules, grace plus the law of Moses, salvation plus a checklist, and Paul was like, absolutely not on my watch.
The weight of his frustration comes from the depth of his affection. It’s that same feeling we know in our own homes — telling your spouse to wash the cup by the sink yesterday and the next day it’s still there, or telling your kids to clean their room last weekend and now it’s Saturday again and nothing moved. That caring frustration? That’s Paul in this text. He expected more because he loved more.
Holy Spirit - Pt.1
If there is anything Christians should talk about more, it is the Holy Spirit. Not the spooky version people imagine, but the real Holy Spirit Jesus promised. The Person who lives inside us, walks with us, teaches us, convicts us, and guides us.
Before we even talk about His roles, we need to understand something important:
The Holy Spirit is not an “it.” He is a He. A Person. God in us.
Jesus said the Holy Spirit is our Teacher. That means your greatest Bible teacher is not TikTok theology or Instagram sermons. Your Teacher lives inside you. He reminds you of the words of Jesus and brings Scripture to life. But He will not force you to learn. You have to show up to class.
He is also our Guide. Jesus said the Spirit of truth guides us into all truth. Guides do not shout from far away. They walk beside you. They lead. They whisper. But you can hear God and still ignore Him. Jonah proved that. God told him to go to Nineveh and he said no. He ran so far he almost sank a boat full of professional fishermen. Sometimes the storms we face are not attacks. They are us running from the direction of the Guide.
The Holy Spirit is also the One who convicts us of sin. Conviction is not condemnation. Condemnation says you are finished. Conviction says you can do better and come back. That tug on your heart, that nudge, that little moment where you know you should apologize or make it right, that is not shame. That is the Holy Spirit reminding you of who you really are.
Identity • Repentance • Acceptance
We begin by discovering one thing: we are loved by Jesus not because of what we’ve done but because of His heart toward us. That love becomes the anchor for our identity, shaping every part of our life. From this solid ground, true worship naturally emerges, not because it’s expected but because of awe for who He truly is. When our passion fades, repentance isn’t about shame, it’s about realigning with our first love for the sake of restoration. And finally, acceptance teaches us this essential truth: God honors faithfulness over flawless performance. It’s not about what the world says you should have achieved but about the doors He opens to you simply because you stayed close.
GET RIGHT WITH GOD
In a time when the world is loud and truth is blurred, the book of James offers a bold and urgent call to maturity. In this in-depth teaching, we walk through James chapters 3–5, uncovering what it means to tame your tongue, posture your heart, and pray with power.
This isn’t a feel good devotional, it’s a Spirit-led charge to live differently. Whether you’re leading a group, seeking personal revival, or just tired of surface level faith, this teaching will guide you back to what matters most.

Don’t Mistake Delay with Denial
Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean God said no. In James 1, we’re reminded that trials aren’t meant to break us they’re meant to build us. Steadfastness is grown through struggle, and delay is often the space where God does His deepest work. Don’t let doubt distort the promise. Your delay isn’t denial, it’s preparation.
Outreach From The Hill
When the Blessing Closet was destroyed, The Hill showed up.
In partnership with Freedom in Christ, we brought clothing, hygiene kits, prayer, and most importantly, the love of God, to women in recovery. This is what it means to serve beyond Sunday. We’re just getting started.
STILL OUTSIDE?
You can be faithful and still far. You can be standing outside of what God is doing, not because you're lost, but because of pride, offense, or comparison. The older brother never left the house, but he forgot he was a son. Don't just be near the Father, walk in.
In My Father’s House / The Power of a Choice
This Easter we explored the story of the Prodigal Son through the message “In My Father’s House.” We all have a choice: stay empty with what the world offers or return to the Father—where love, restoration, and true fullness await.
1 John 1-5
God is light, pure truth and knowledge. Darkness is ignorance, and we choose which one we walk in. Real salvation shows in real change. Don’t just talk faith—live it. If we say we know Him, we should walk like Him. Stay close to the light, and let love lead.
We Are Expectant!
We’re not just hopeful—we are expectant. God is moving, and tonight wasn’t a coincidence. It was a divine appointment. Come as you are, and let Him be who He says He is.
