We Are Expectant!

God is so good.

As we started planning this night, our hearts weren’t just excited—they were expectant. Not just hopeful. Not just enthusiastic. We knew God was going to move. We felt it before the doors opened, before the first note was played, before the lights turned on.

And something happens when we expect God to show up.

"Do You Believe I Can Do This?"

In Matthew 9:27–31, two blind men followed Jesus. They cried out to Him, calling Him the Son of David, not just a respectful title, but a faith declaration. They were saying, “We believe You’re the promised One.”

Jesus responded with a question that still echoes today:
“Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
And they said, “Yes, Lord.”

“Then he touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith be it done to you.’ And their eyes were opened.”
— Matthew 9:29–30 (ESV)

Their expectation unlocked their miracle.

No Coincidences—Just Divine Appointments

You didn’t walk in here tonight by accident. God brought you here on purpose. This was your appointment.

“The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way.”
— Psalm 37:23 (ESV)

Maybe life has been heavy lately. Maybe anxiety’s been pressing on your chest. Maybe you’re worn out from trying to hold everything together. You’re not alone.

This is The Hill. We don’t fake it here. We get real.
Because real pain needs a real Savior.

Cut Through the Noise

Let’s be honest: social media is full of filters and fronting. The world is shouting, “Be more! Do more! Look better!” But God says something different.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”
— Romans 12:2 (ESV)

Some of us need to unsubscribe from voices that lead us nowhere and start tuning in to the One who gives life.

You don’t need to fix yourself before coming to God. You don’t clean yourself before getting in the shower, right?

Same with Jesus.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28 (ESV)

God isn’t waiting for you to get perfect. He wants you as you are. Broken. Messy. Tired. Unsure. Because He does His best work with the real you.
